English Vintage Hall Porters Chair, traditionally made in Handdyed Tan Cowhide with all the natural marks and grain of the leather stil visible. Hand nailing so all separate nails, this exclusive chair is still one that is fully handmade in the old fashioned way. Behind the two doors in the lower part you find a copper plate on the floor which was used to put the handstove with coals on. This way the butler kept warm when sitting in the chair or had to walk trough the house. The antique brass hand stove is included with this chair. A quality chair with wonderful leather.
