JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE BROGUES - BROWN / TAN - UK 8 - LIMBER - EXCELLENT CONDITION. A very fine pair of vintage, full-brogue derby shoes in'Highland Steer' leather from Joseph Cheaney - perfect town-and-country footwear. They are in excellent used condition, overall - notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago.

So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney's in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around. The style is'Limber' - a traditional and beautifully proportioned full-brogue town-and-country derby. The width fitting is'EE' - which is the'standard' width fitting (so, equivalent to a modern-day'F' fitting).

The shoes feature grained Highland Steer leather uppers, lightweight leather / linen linings and leather soles. Wonderful quality shoes from a traditional English shoemaker.
