Vintage Heuer Carrera 7753N Chronograph Valjoux 7730 Tan Rally Band Sun B Buckle
Vintage Heuer Carrera 7753N Chronograph with Valjoux 7730 MN movement and tan rally band with B buckle. Fabulous original 60s Heuer Carrera 7753N, Rare to find an unpolished one with a mint dial and all original lume. Fabulous N (Nero) black dial with engine turned sub-dials. Rare to find any black Carrera with such an incredible dial wit all the original lume plots in place and aged to such a rich, warm colour. Hands are all original and in very good condition, again with the same fabulous aged lume colour.
Original white sweep second hand with sharp pointed tip has aged and is slightly creamy in colour. Lovely condition all stainless steel with some swear and and with some few age related marks. Nice sharp lugs and no signs of polishing. Pushers are correct 4.3mm low profile. 18mm lug spacing as typified by all the early Carrera models. The case houses a beautifully clean and recently serviced Valjoux 7730 Heuer movement that is running perfectly, keeping time and with all chrono functions working and resetting to zero.It has the MN stamp as shown in the photos. A new old stock 32.5mm plexi-glass has been fitted and the original Carrera minute tension ring retained. The ring is in excellent condition. Original Heuer unsigned large 6.7mm crown and stem.
The crown has slight discolouration to part of the logo as shown in the photos. The screw fit case back is in good condition with its original Heuer Leonidas stamps inside.
It differs from some of the other 7753 case backs I have in that it does not have the engine turned swirl finish inside and is unpolished internally. The Carrera comes on a new 18mm tan rally band with 16mm Heuer B buckle.
